My husband and I went to Bio-M-Bios on Friday night for a date night. Bio-M-Bios is a Mexican restaurant located off Poplar Tent Road in Concord, NC. The restaurant is upscale Mexican food. We had fajitas for two and it was $22 for the fajitas. Most of the items on the menu were $12-$24 each. We also ordered a margarita. The prices were not listed on the menu so I figured maybe $5 or $6 at the most. I was wrong...mine was $10 (yes a whopping $10 for a drink) and my husband's was $7. There was a band playing old seventies style beach music which I thought a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant but the bar area was crowded and it seemed a popular band. Friendly wait staff, good food, nice place. However, the music was so loud that we seriously could hardly hear each other. I did think the prices were a little bit high, especially the drinks. Would I go back, maybe if I were looking for something a little upscale but not a place I will frequent on a routine basis. Would I order the drinks, a big loud no!
